Terms

Terms of use

These terms explain how you can use Thalia, how subscriptions work, and what the product is not designed to do. If you use Thalia, you agree to these terms.

What Thalia is

Thalia is an AI companion experience for video, voice, and text conversation. It is designed for emotional companionship and entertainment. Thalia is not a real person, therapist, doctor, lawyer, financial advisor, emergency service, or crisis service.

Eligibility

You must be an adult in your jurisdiction to use Thalia. If we believe an account is being used by a minor, we may restrict or terminate access.

Acceptable use

You may not use Thalia to request or generate sexual content, exploitative content, harassment, instructions for violence, illegal activity, self-harm encouragement, or attempts to bypass product safety rules. We may limit, suspend, or terminate access for abuse, automated scraping, quota farming, payment fraud, or attempts to attack the service.

We may automatically review user inputs, speech transcripts, AI outputs, and direct text-to-speech requests for safety. If content is unsafe, the service may block it, replace the response with a safer redirect, and store a moderation record for abuse prevention and compliance evidence.

AI output

AI responses can be incomplete, inaccurate, or emotionally persuasive in ways that should not be treated as professional advice. You are responsible for decisions you make based on conversations with Thalia. For medical, legal, financial, safety, or crisis needs, contact a qualified professional or emergency service.

If a required safety check, model provider, speech provider, or billing provider is unavailable, Thalia may pause, refuse, or limit a response rather than process unchecked content.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Prices, billing periods, included quotas, and plan limits are shown before checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can manage or cancel your subscription from the billing portal after signing in.

Conversation, speech-to-text, and text-to-speech limits may be enforced separately to protect service quality and API costs. Attempts to bypass product routes, automate free sessions, or directly call paid API surfaces may be rate limited or blocked.

Canceling normally stops future renewals while keeping access through the end of the paid billing period, unless Stripe or the payment provider shows a different option at the time of cancellation.

Refunds

Payments are generally non-refundable except where required by law or where we choose to make an exception. If you believe a payment was made in error, contact us promptly with the account email and relevant payment details.

Privacy

Thalia depends on conversation memory, so the service stores messages and derived memory records. See the Privacy page for what is stored, why, and how to request deletion.

Changes and availability

We may change features, quotas, prices for future billing periods, model providers, or these terms as the product evolves. We may also interrupt or limit service when required for maintenance, security, provider outages, or abuse prevention.
